The Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), which is now rapidly spreading damages the immune system. HIV inhibits your body’s ability to fight the organisms that cause disease. HIV causes sexually transmitted infection (STI) like AIDS. Evidently, the Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) is caused by HIV.
Because of is fast progression in the society, HIV is now considered an epidemic. It almost all continents or regions of the world, HIV is increasing due to sex malpractice and irresponsible sexual encounters. Having sex with someone with HIV is undoubtedly causing the spread of the disease leading to it as being rampant.
Also, blood transfusion may also be a great cause of its increase. Having blood with HIV definitely causes its transfer to another individual and this is too alarming. There are undetermined donors with HIV infection and they were not readily examined.
Sharing needles with the ones with HIV is another reason of the transfer or spread of the disease. Having medical malpractice in hospitals or clinics is indeed too dangerous and can make the disease as epidemic.
Even mothers can pass HIV to the child during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Since the mother is in direct contact with the baby, the child is truly susceptible with the disease.
More seriously, the ones with unprotected sex is at great risk with HIV/AIDS. Having multiple sex partners is susceptible to this kind of disease and people should take note of that.
HIV truly weakens your immune and people should be well-educated of this matter. The epidemic can be prevented to grow if proper information and dissemination should be made!
Be safe and free from this disease. Don’t let it continue in its course in destroying human lives, though it is epidemic but it can be stopped!
