            The simple province of Bataan is known for its many picturesque landscapes and breath-taking beaches, historical landmarks and prominent sceneries.  But what is sometimes neglected is its richness and diversity in culture and ethnicity.  A variety of people have been a part of the heritage of our province that has been an integral part of history.  With the fast-paced world we are currently living in, endowed with technology and innovations, they too, have also learned to adapt and acclimate their know how with the changing times.

            With the opportunity presented by the K-12 program introduced by the Department of Education, the Senior High School has paved the way to give equal chance for a better education and living for everybody, especially the indigenous people.  Not only that, with the leadership of a compassionate principal Mrs. Norma Rico, together with the ever-diligent SHS teachers, our “brothers” and “sisters” are provided with the care and respect that they deserve.

            The right to education is exercised in Bataan National High School as stated in Section 2 of Republic Act No. 9155 wherein it is hereby declared the policy of the State to protect and promote the right of all citizens to quality basic education and to make such education accessible to all by providing all Filipino children a free and compulsory education in the elementary level and free education in the high school level.
