One of the head cracking problems of teachers nowadays is the behavior of their pupils: pupils who are showing off, bullies and most of the time noisy. Sometimes teachers find it so hard to discipline these children.

With the inclusion of Homeroom Guidance Program in the Elementary School Program, changes in the conduct and behavior of the pupils have been observed. Pupils were trained to overcome their feelings through sharing, socialization and other group activities. With these, each pupil boost their self–esteem and self–worth. They can feel their importance as a member of the class, therefore misbehaviour is overcome.

Homeroom Guidance was held every Mondays. It is a 30–minute activity. During this period, the teacher identifies pupil’s individual problems. In this case, the teacher employed adaptable measures on how to resolve problems in her class. So much to that, Homeroom Guidance is a tool for a closer and more intimate relationship between pupils and teachers.
