Had there be someone to search for any job that calls for the most sacrificial one, probably everyone will agree that it is the teacher. The teachers for whom parents entrust their children for almost the whole day in almost weeklong endeavors in their childlife. It is the teacher who absorbs everything that each child from his class exhibits.
Struggling with different characters and attitudes of children everyday is just one of the difficult tasks a teacher has to face once she gets into this profession of teaching. Puplis’ misbehaviors of many kinds really add up to the burdens of any teacher. Although there are a lot of happy, pleasing and appealing class atmosphere but they seem to be dominated by the negative traits of some students. Unfortunately there are some instances wherein some untoward incidents happen caused by the unbecoming of some children.
In cases that certain problems arise the teacher has to be in control, still acting to be the immediate counselor and being the second parent of students in school. But sad things do happen at times, teachers tend to lose their control and harsh actions are made towards their students especially to those who are repeatedly doing such misbehaviors. It is also during these instances that we can see the pathetic situations of our teachers.
However, seminars on children’s rights and protection are held almost yearly to make everyone especially in the education sector be aware of our children’s sake. It is a sad idea that the welfare of the teachers are taken for granted. That’s why it’s getting hard nowadays on the part of a teacher to really perform well inside the classroom if the discipline of the students is becoming a big deal to consider. Maybe it’s high time for our authorities to also consider the provision of help that will also cater the needs of teachers when it comes to their rights and protection.
