Management is handling and controlling people, money, and resources of an institution or organization. An effective manager must know how to manage wisely and effectively. Here are some tips on how you will become a good classroom manager.

1. HOW TO MANAGE PEOPLE— Teacher as class adviser manages students by guiding, directing supervising, monitoring, advising etc. in order that they will have an outstanding performance. To do these she needs to establish good relationship by getting along or bonding with them.  She needs to talk to them to know their problems and try to help in solving it. She needs to find out the reason for absenteeism and unusual behaviour by conducting home visitations to ask parents for assistance in solving the problems. She needs to maintain friendly attitude to make her students feel comfortable and trust her with their problems. She also needs to exercise honesty and fairness with regards to giving grades and has enough patience in dealing with their undesirable behaviour and shortcomings.

2. HOW TO MANAGE MONEY OR BUDGET—Management of money just involves three principles. Allocation, distribution and control. Since teacher is not handling school budget but needs to be resourceful if she needs money to improve her classroom and its premises. She can ask donations from parents or request from the principal for the budget she needed. In handling money from the parents she needs to report and show evidences where the money was spent.

3. HOW TO MANAGE SCHOOL RESOURCES—Resources are the things provided by the school for her to take care of like school buildings and facilities, equipments, chairs and tables, textbooks, etc. She must see to it that school properties are being used properly. Students must be properly instructed and guided in using equipments and facilities. Teacher must help in maintaining school facilities and equipments  because these are funded by the taxes collected from the people.
