Preparing learning materials for students is critical because learning materials may considerably boost learners’ accomplishments by assisting them in their learning. Educational movies, worksheets, and listening exercises, for example, can help students enhance their abilities in a variety of ways. According to (Purpose of teaching and learning materials, 2020), The goal and significance of teaching and learning materials are to make classes more engaging, learning easier, and allow teachers to communicate concepts more clearly. Learning resources can help learners achieve more by assisting them in their learning. There are children in a classroom setting that require more attention, and we cannot ignore them since each student’s learning is crucial. Some students have difficulties with reading, speaking, or even observing, but one of the most serious issues that a student might face is a listening problem. According to (Yavuz, 2022), Difficulties and Strategies in Listening Comprehension may affect children in a variety of ways, including trouble recalling what they’ve heard, difficulty comprehending the speaker’s accent or tempo of speech, and a restricted listener vocabulary.

Teachers must make a concerted effort to enhance students’ listening abilities since listening skills enable students to not only hear but also to take in, digest, and comprehend what others are saying. Listening not only improves your capacity to comprehend and communicate, but it also makes other people’s experience of conversing with you more pleasant. Moreover, this might also assist students in making studying more enjoyable and simpler. To make this possible, teachers must create learning materials that are suitable for students with listening disabilities. According to, (EducationLinks, 2020), The value of accessible learning materials is that they encourage individuals to engage in classes by incorporating interactive learning. It delivers material in a number of media, including audio and video, for students with impairments. To improve their skills, they require access to a range of assistive learning materials.

There are several approaches to developing instructional materials that are successful in enhancing students’ listening abilities. According to (Nor, 2014), Listening skills may be taught through a variety of methods, including utilizing a tape recorder, answering questions based on the text, rewriting songs, viewing television clips or listening to a CD-ROM, listening to the radio and employing dictation, and so on. Finally, teaching listening allows children to follow directions, comprehend expectations, and comprehend spoken communication. As students strengthen their listening skills, they learn to apply the same tactics to their other language skills. Furthermore, because listening skills are a crucial aspect of a student’s learning, it is critical for a future teacher to understand the significance of listening skills and the relevance of providing learning materials to help students improve their listening comprehension abilities.
