Once a person lives, he/she should live life to the fullest.  Just like in the teaching profession, a teacher should be at his/her best not for his/her own sake but for the benefit of the students or learners.

Be a person of knowledge.   A teacher must be knowledgeable.  His/her versatility in various subject areas must be reflected.  By being a wide reader and inquisitive, he/she will be able to fill his/her mind with the pertinent core awareness and understanding of the data and information which are much essential in the teaching profession.

Be committed. Having commitment and dedication in pursuing one’s duty makes a teacher outstanding.  He/she should exert full devotion in doing such school tasks and responsibilities for the benefit of the students and of the entire teaching community.

Be a mirror of a good personality.   A teacher must be worth emulating.  His/her words and actions must be admirable and pleasing to the eyes of the community.  Being presentable in appearance and behaviour is great.

Be an initiator of change and innovation.  To be an outstanding educator, he/she should introduce new things which will bring benefits to others.  Whether in school lessons or about the practical world, a teacher must set a new good trend that will lead the child to development and progress.

Be flexible.  A teacher should strike anywhere and be adjustable to adapt to various undertakings in school.  He/she should be able to cope and deal with challenges and adversities if needed.

Be well-organized.  In everything you do, make things proper and in order.  A teacher who does things in organization may lead his/her job in success and in good fate.  If a teacher is organized everything will go smoothly.

Be patient.  Apply patience in dealing with the learners and with the school responsibilities or duties.  Patience can keep someone calm and make things in order.

Be a natural leader.  Always lead the learners to do good and work for the best.  Be someone who creates a big difference in one’s life.  A natural leader does things not for oneself but for the sake of others.

Be a good listener.  A child needs someone to be with in order to share his/her feelings and sentiments.  A teacher should be there to listen and be a good second parent.

These are the ways in order to be an outstanding teacher in the present generation.
