Anywhere else in the world, teenagers by nature are carefree and free-spirited young souls, and they live life to the fullest! Studies revealed in the recent surveys, quite a number of young individuals are emotionally affected by the turn of events in their school and social lives because of the pandemic situation. It says that common mental issue involves a low mood, irritability, and feeling of sadness/emptiness or loss of pleasure over things.

If you are an observant Mom, everyday you can do comparative analysis as to how your son/daughter takes his/her daily life with your sight. As a mom, you may either be working from home too or just simply a plain housewife taking care of your family. Given this precious opportunity brought about by the pandemic, I strongly believe you should seize the time to make yourself within the best reach of your child. Indication such as major events, inflicting pain and conflict may give rise to confusion and sense of belongingness and/or of longingness.

Death or a loss of someone whom we dearly loved is indeed permanent which in turn also causes permanent pain. Abuses whether physical, sexual, emotional can make us more vulnerable to depression later in life among the young and adults. From this point of view, no one, yes, no one is indispensable to the threat of depression. What us— parents, can do best is to keep a watchful eye on our youngsters.   

Let’s do our best part to truly make a safe friendly, reduced homey environment for our children. Let’s make our youngsters understand the benefits of a good sleep, joy brought about by having healthy recreation and a sound rest. But above all these, let’s teach them the power and blessing of praying each day!
