Teaching is an art; it demands devotion, humor, understanding and hard work. DepEd needs human resources to fill up positions necessary to achieve effective teaching-learning activities in the classroom.

Teaching is a serious responsibility. The true aim of a teacher is to develop the mind of the learners. It is the teacher who changes the personality of the young while they are in school, that’s why a teacher must be intellectually equipped with knowledge that will inspire the pupils/students to learn. Teachers’ methods may vary as widely as their character. We can point out 3 ways to make teaching more effective.

Make teaching CLEAR. Make your lesson clear. Explain “what” and “why” they need to learn and be sure they understand your words. Use illustrative words and teaching devices that will make learning easier.

Have a lot of patience. Anything worth learning takes time to learn and time to teach. Don’t assume that the pupils/students can jump speedily from one lesson to another without understanding every lesson taught to them Patient while teaching may result to effective learning leading to great performances and achievements.

Be responsible. Teacher should perform duties thoroughly, earnestly and demonstrate high sense of responsibility. Remember, the teacher us accountable for whatever activities done inside the classroom.
