As the saying goes by,”Teaching is the Noblest Profession”,Iam proud to say that I,Pia Moran G. Mangahas,is a teacher by heart, mind, spirit and profession.

Inspired  and motivated by my parent’s hardships and sacrifices,I was able to pursue my dream of being a professional teacherinspite of our financial status,it does not hinder my dream.Through scholarship programs and being a part-time student from various works such as laundry girl, ironing clothes of my neighbor, doing household chores of other people,I was able to support my studies.

Life is full of surprises and challenges,December 12,1998,the saddest part of my life, when my mother passed away due to heart-attack.I was so depressed and hopeless by that time, how am I going to continue my dream if my inspiration and the source of my strength is gone. But, I realized that,my mother might get disappointed if am going to stop from schooling and get employed.By the help of our God and the encouragement from my love ones,I was able to surpass the depression and nightmare of my life and decided to finish my studies.By God’s grace,I graduated Cum Laude and Best-Student Teacher awardee.

The important lessons in my life that I want to impart to my students at present is to pursue their dreaminspite of different challenges that might come along their ways in fulfilling it. Give them hope, inspire and teaching them to believe  in their own capabilities that will lead to their success based from my own experiences. As a teacher, perseverance, dedication and passion in my profession are the main ingredients in teaching profession in order to produce a productive and competitive citizens of our country in the near future.

In the end,  thebest teacher for me, is the one who can turn his/her vision and mission in life into reality through his/her students personality and achievements.
