When God created the world, He made it as beautiful as it can be. There are green plants, clean land refreshing air and beautiful surroundings. Maybe because He wanted to give the BEST for His “look alike” – the man. But as time goes by it became noticeable and serious problem that land pollution occurs which is caused mainly of GARBAGES.
Garbage literally litter on our city streets. Plastic bags full of assorted wastes such as peelings of vegetables and fruits, softdrinks can, broken bottles, paper, chicken bones, batteries, plastic wrapper or even candy wrapper- thoughtlessly thrown by irresponsible citizens. It will not only end on this part what makes this more problematic is when animals like dogs scattered it on the streets.
An everyday scenario because nobody cares to clean it or change for they thought its not their jobs there are street sweepers who will do or work on that.
Sad to say that only few citizens cared for their environment. Even if there are projects or programs given by the national government or introduced by the local governments units (LGU) still the best way to eradicate it or lessen the problem on garbage is the people living in the community. It depends on their hand if they will follow the proper segregation of wastes. If they have the willingness to maintain the cleanliness of their environment.
If only the garbage could TALK it will say “ GET ME AND PUT ME WHERE I BELONG”. (segragation), “DON’T THROW ME I COULD HELP YOU” (Recycle and Reuse)
Its not too late to take action. Only when we make a major change in how we live and behave will change take place. Let’s make this as a way to thank God for a wonderful world He gave to us. Let us do our part, our very best to clean the place, do our own garbage management for a better living.
