The education of youth is everybody’s concern. Providing quality education is school’s utmost desire. However, the school cannot stand alone without the support of the external stakeholders that is why Brigada Eskwela becomes DepEd’s model of genuine public and private partnership in action to solve the many challenges facing by the department. Additionally, it serves as one of its frontline initiatives reminding everyone that everybody is a stakeholder in education.

Consequently, teachers play an important role to make the school brigade activities properly accomplished and documented. They are required to be visible in this one-week event because their presence can inspire partners/volunteers which could give a big help to sustain stakeholders’ interest in participating the program.

Everyday, teachers need to evaluate how the day went through so that necessary improvements will be planned for the next day. Leaking roofs, dilapidated desks, tables and chairs, vandalized and flaking walls are some of the problems they need given further solution.

This effort being shown by the teachers and their one hundred percent participation can make the activities a very successful one. However, these tiring and stressful days can be brought teachers to feel body pains and headache that lead them not to perform their works well.

Hence, the school can seek a relaxing place so that all teachers who are exposed to a very tiring week will have a quality time to release their exhausted energy.  A one-day culminating activity can be done in other places through picnic or team building. Different activities and nutritious foods can be served to the teachers to release their exhausted energy and uplift themselves with positive thoughts. With this, teachers will be fired up to begin imparting knowledge once more to all children on the opening of classes.
