        All mathematical concepts start from the basics of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Without understanding these fundamentals, no child can progress to learn and understand different concepts in mathematics. So, every teacher should conduct project 4 Fs to determine if their pupils have mastered the four fundamental operations. It is likewise important for the pupils to master these in order to enhance their performance in Mathematics.

        Learning and mastering the basics of math such as arithmetic will drive better complex mathematical concepts and calculation. In this way, learners achieve to overcome hardships in arithmetic and develop a love and eagerness for learning math. Daily use of window cards can be a great help in improving learners’ performance in Mathematics.

Here are the activities that should be done by teachers to all learners:

  • Conduct a pre-treatment survey to determine the pupils’ studying habits before taking a test in project 4 F’s.
  • Gather evidence about pupils’ understanding by examining their performance in taking 4 F’s test.
  • Examine the ideas of the pupils more closely and formulate better critical thinking skills.
  • Formally assess the class performance every day with a 4 F’s test.
  • Monitor their own progress toward meeting the learning objectives.
  • Evaluate the answers they will be completed and plan for improved future achievement.
  • Promote a positive impact on pupils’ learning and retention.
  • Record the effectiveness of instruction and encourage the students to practice more.
