It takes a lot of patience,love and time to raise a child. We couldn’t expect

teachersto be the only ones educating our children. It is proven that when the parents help one another in getting involved themselves in their kid’s school life,classroom standing,behavior and emotional well-being improve. There are some things teachers want from parents.

First and foremost, give your precious time to your kid by reading a story to your kid after your work. With this, you are building the knowledge for the love of reading. Reading to your kid will plant the seeds for a lifetime of reading.

Visiting the teacher of your kid will somehow help you identify the strengths and weaknesses of your child. In getting to know the second parent of your child,you’ll have the chance to ask her from time to time the standing of your kid in school,coz the teacher knows a lot of things in your child.

 Know your child’s friends inside and outside of school. There is a saying that “tell me who your friends are and I’ll tell you who you are”. Knowing the friends of your child will lessen your fear especially when they do not see their child so often. Be friends with your child’s peer. Encourage your child to bring her friends at home. Get involved in the school activities.

 Parents must actively involved themselves in school. Lastly, you can be a Teacher-Parent to your kid. Act as if you’re teacher in a class. Get his attention every time you’re giving directions. Be precise in giving directions. It must be clear enough to be understood. Check or give praise if he followed it correctly.
