As a beginner, always remember that one must follow steps and measures in baking. Never to estimate the amount of ingredients based on what you want or replace for what is available. Ingredients is the most important factor in baking. In preparing this, consider its expiration dates. This may cause failure in the product. Check on! Specially the flour. Flour has many classes depending of what pastry you are going to bake. Complete your ingredients. Remember in replacing ingredients considered its probable outcome.
In measuring, measuring cups or spoons are the best tools for this. Avoid estimations! Too much or too little may cause the product to fail. Whatever measure given in such specific ingredients must be follow for there will be an effect on the mixture. If you want to replace its measure try in a small amount of mixture first.
Follow the steps by steps procedure given. There are methods used in mixing. Like cakes, conventional method is being use. Mix gradually, too much mixing may cause bubbles in the mixture that can cause another failure. Ovens temperature is much important in baking. The heat temperature must be reach to make it perfect one. If not it may be unbaked, failed or burnt.
The important aspect in baking is following the prescribed steps and measure. If you want to innovate to make a better one make sure that ingredients are fitted to make the mixture more better to look and taste.
