In a school setting now-a-days, it is much expected that the students should actively participate in their everyday undertakings in their respective classes. In this regard student engagement is very important in the success of the teaching-learning process that is why it should be given much attention and be improved.
In order to encourage the students to participate in day to day discussions in school, the persons responsible in educating them must do the first step. Initially, the teacher must be enthusiastic enough to raise the interest and awareness of the students into active involvement.
The teacher should make the students realize the value of education and the activities that it yields. In this way, the students will be able to find the essence of learning that is why they will be actively engaged in it.
As soon as the students realized the worth of education, they will exert their best efforts in various subject areas and in different activities in the school. They will continue soaring high for their development and progress.
Apparently, student engagement will be overflowing and this is contributory in the attainment of triumph in education. Student engagement is a dynamic picture of a lively school scenario where the learner is not just stagnant sitting on the chair but becomes an energetic participant in the teaching-learning process.
If there is a student engagement, the class will create more innovative and ideal learners who are not just contented on the teacher’s lecture but confidently shares their knowledge and do their parts.
The student engagement indeed makes the learner interactive at the same time becoming productive. There is a lot of benefits if the school motivates the child to have engagement in various school undertakings whether in academics or in other extra- curricular activities.
For a better change in the educative system, student engagement is one of the great answers.
