It is indeed the time of modern technology. It is about time that the society as well as its people must be well- aligned with the latest technological evolution. This is also very much applicable to the field of education particularly to the teachers.
It is inevitable that in order to improve the teaching instructions one way is to integrate it with technology. Teacher should be able to embrace the wonders of computer in order to further enhance their teaching prowess.
Chalk and board must still exist but teaching with the blend of technology would be much inviting and stimulating to the new generation of learners. Since they are very much cognizant with computers due to games and other amusement purposes, it is the right time to awaken them to the most purposeful usage of technology in their learning process.
The magic of multimedia in presenting educational films, views and songs are truly effective in catching the attention of our dear learners. Using power point in teaching would be more organized, systematic and economical thus improving our teaching instructions. Using various softwares can aid the pupils to more educational learning experiences.
Even the usual classroom recital of poems, role playing, speech delivery and among others can be enhanced through the use of technology that the teachers will initiate in his/her teaching.
Teachers may also lead the pupils to researches and queries on various topics through technology that can be present inside the school premises. Virtual libraries can also be amazing and awesome on the part of the inquisitive and adventurous learners.
Moreover, visiting various wholesome and friendly website can be instrumental in discovering the world of knowledge. So, technology can transform the education to be more dynamic and impressive.
Our beloved teachers must tend to realize that technology is here to stay for the benefit of the teachers and learners. It will further redefine the teaching activities to be implemented in order to create a much powerful impact on the part of the pupils or students.
Come on…technology is just around. It is for educators to use and be advanced.
