The school in general is the learning environment of a child. It must be very conducive to learning. It is a great call on the part of a classroom teacher to create a wholesome atmosphere in the classroom and to generate a positive approach and active participation of the pupils. Classrooms need not be new but it must always be clean. It should be well – ventilated not necessarily be air conditioned but the windows must be always open and free from things blocking the air. The bulletin boards for every subject area must be updated because it help a lot in developing children’s mind. The information they read from what is posted in knowledge gained. Children are inspired in coming to school when they know there are lots of new things they could learn.

Every school must have a library where children could spend their free time reading books. It is the place where children could develop the love for reading. It should be equipped with books suited to elementary pupils.

Math. Park is also a must because it a place where children could play Damath. It is a place where the learning barkada meets. The least learned skills in the tests and the lesson are reinforced in the Math Garden through the different available mathematics equipment, manipulative objects and practice exercises.

Math Center or Math Room will serve as a resource learning center in Mathematics. It is equipped with different manipulative objects and other materials which the mathematics teachers could use in teaching Math.

Our children to be globally competitive must learn to use the computer. The computer is one thing that could impart knowledge aside from books. By just searching thru the internet the children get information from around the world.

These are only some ways of improving the learning environment. If these are all available in the school plus the presence of quality teachers, there no reason why children could not get quality education.
