The first things that teachers establish in the first day of classes are the classroom rules and regulation. We all know how important these rules are in keeping the order and harmony inside the classroom.

But aside from just making sure that the room will not be a battle ground or a garbage bin, rules like these are somewhat a preparation for bigger things.

Class room discipline is the stepping stone in attaining an orderly campus, like a family to the society; it’s the backbone of peace and order. It is also a way of practicing the students’ sense of recognizing authority. Classroom regulations showthem that they are all students with equal responsibility and Teachers are a higher authority whom they will follow.

The common rules within classroom perimeters are about cleanliness, silence, no cheating, absences, and obedience and so on. These seemingly small things affect a greater ladder of discipline. If it is implemented properly classroom rules will be imprinted on their minds making it second nature for them to abide. Subconsciously they will apply these said rules even outside the classroom or the school. Rules and regulation are like the law of the classroom, if students learn to obey law in early stage of their lives it is possibly that they will be proper citizens in the future who knows the importance of the law.
