Educators and researchers believe that the keys to better learning and better performance in schools are effective and efficient teachers, good study environment, parents cooperation, institutional materials and study habits. Teachers say that the way the seize up students in matter of class participation in their previous learning for a particular subject. This is the study habits of learners.
When learners have study habits, they study in a systematic and efficient way. They devote time and attention to acquire new knowledge and information from different references and interventional materials. Acquisition of study habits of students will be success in academic performance of students.
Educational researchers believe and reveal that findings of their study on the relationship between academic performance and behavior pattern claim that the classroom environment contributes a lot to the academic performance of the students.
This includes the visual display, the furniture arrangement, the instructional material. Also the color used inside the classroom. The findings also reveal that even the sound, the quality of air inside the classroom or the temperature and the light. All of these contribute to the behavior pattern of the student and in turn affects their academic performance.
So teachers, why not conduct a similar study on students behavior pattern and its relationship to academic performance.
