According to a study on one of my strategies, “game-based learning strategies” refer to the use of certain gaming principles in situations that are not gaming-related to engage individuals (Trybus 2015). I started the process of integrating a learner-centered teaching philosophy into my lesson design. This strategy changed the dynamics in my classroom and encouraged a student-centered learning atmosphere. By considering all my student’s needs and interests, I was able to design interesting classes. I utilized several different strategies, such as gameplay, board exercises, inquiry-based activities, and individual assessments. Game-based learning is accessible to students, and it makes them more active and productive.
