Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE)is a subject in the secondary level composed of different areas such electronics, garments, business management, welding etc. . For some students, TLE is an interesting and challenging subject that requires imaginative and reflective thinking.
The learning environment of a classroom assisted by instructional medium like computer isdifferent from the one without the aid of technology. Teaching with the aid of computer would
continue to add new information . A tremendous potential for computer to be fostered as a tool in teaching TLE can give immediate flashback and prescribes appropriate learning for mastery of lesson. In addition, the use of computer as an instructional aid can enable students to visualize abstract concepts and make such displays rapid, accurate and flexible
.
Learning and teaching are the concerns of a trained teacher. Although learning is a complexprocess, it can be reinforced with instructional media of different variety because it attracts the learners’ attention during the instructional process.

In our country, the role of computer is to identify institutions or people who can help the
learners in their pursuit of knowledge that enables them to suggest information.
Technology can play an effective role in a TLE class. TLE teachers must
deal with the advantages of technology on the development of society. Effective instruction
particularly TLE education must include a range of computer technology skills. At a
minimum, TLE instruction must account for the changes in society resulting on the use
of technology and must consider the critical thought required for processing information generated by technology.

It is interesting to note that some of trained teachers can teach with the aid of computer as
instructional medium. Various researchers found out those teachers who are trained to use some
form of instructional media to teach their lessons enjoyed what they are doing. They do so
unconsciously because they know that using computer can stimulate and motivate as well as
capture attention.
