Interactive science is what the educators need to employ at present for it will make the teaching-learning process more dynamic and fruitful. Salient features of interactive may be described in terms of the following:
Communicating. Science will be considered interactive if it communicates a lot of organized knowledge and information. The science teacher should be able to transmit all possible facts and data to the students to make them more knowledgeable and well-taught.
Collaborating. Science is said to be interactive if the learners work together for a common goal. In classroom situation, the teacher should promote collaboration among the students in order to come up with better and organized ideas.
Cooperating. Science is cooperating if the members of a science class extends efforts in various class activities. They tend to cooperate with the teacher and peers in order to attain a certain activity.
Sharing. Science is sharing if the members of the science class share and lend a helping hands to those peers who need most help. Sharing that is being practiced makes an interactive science.
Stimulating. Science should be stimulating to the interest of the students. The science teacher should motivate the students to study the lessons in science and this accomplishes its interactivity.
Activating. Science should be activating. A science teacher should be able to make the students move in varied classroom interactions. Science teacher should energize their spirit in doing various science activities.
Making use of technology. Science should make use of technology. Technology can create an interactive science class. The rudiments of computer can make the class be more inviting and interesting to the students.
These best describe an interactive class and these should be employed in the classrooms for better quality education in science.
