“I” like A or U can be the shortest title for an article that one can ever think of. Most probably the next short word for a title that can make it to second place will be like “IT”.
“IT” is a familiar and commonly used word that is in the dictionary. For that matter, the word “it” belongs to one of the main parts of speech in the English language classified as a pronoun. “IT” is a two-letter word which means: that one just mentioned.
In other occasion, “IT” also stands as an abbreviation for a much broader and expansive field of study which we know as information technology. IT encompasses a wide range of genre with respect to computers and telecommunications. It transcends transmission of information and data exchange with virtual efficiency and speed. Though not limited to it, information technology has created wonders in running the business world. In doing business, the time in negotiating and closing deals are considered as very important. The longer time it takes to do the trading, the cost efficiency and proper
utilization of resources involved in the process becomes vulnerable to time constraints.
With faster communication and proper protection of electronic data and records, us IT provides a cutting edge to businesses amidst tight competition. It also paves the way for organizational leaders to bring about head on and almost accurate decisions in crucial situations that may require urgent resolve and solution. Based on educated information provided by IT, concerns are given real time attention and answers before going beyond the risk boundaries, thus mitigate the occurrence of undesirable losses.
It is not only the business world that benefits solely from the global developments of information technology. Almost all of various fields of knowledge and study known to man in the sphere of learning are benefitting to the wonders of information technology.
In a world that is infected by a virus, we can decisively utter that we have reached a point of global IT reliance in the field of medicine as of the present time. Without information technology, our attempt to fight the battle against Covid-19 could have been a futile struggle. Courage we may keep, but it is the uncertain that we have to contain and that a vaccine will be of help for us to win the atrocity threatening the health of humanity. It is highly hoped and prayed that favor will come for the world to live through the pandemic with the prudent use of IT in the service of mankind.
