Education plays a vital role in the development of skills and transfer of knowledge through one generation to another especially to our kindergarten children whom we consider the most important asset of our nation.

 

In todays, K to 12 Education system, Kindergarten will now be an integral part of our basic education system. It shall be mandatory and compulsory. It shall be the first step of the child’s formal school.

 

Kindergarten is a pre-school approach based around playing, singing, practical activities and social interaction as part of the transition from home to school.

 

The Kindergarten Education Program is an early education services that caters all five year-old Filipino children. It will ensures children’s readiness to tackle formal instruction in Grade I. Entering kindergarten will be a great help for all Grade I teachers. Thus, viewing it all, the Department of Education had welcomed the approval of kindergarten Education act that provides equal opportunities for all children to avail accessible mandatory Kinder Education.

 

Moreover, Calungusan Elementary School, Orion, Bataan had held meetings with the parents which informed them the importance and advantages of Kindergarten which is now mandatory. It is said that Kindergarten Education will fully recognize and support the first year of their child’s  schooling. It is the most critical period which may influence the child’s learning and behavior.

 

     In addition, Kindergarten is a stage where in the capacity for learning is most absorbtive. “Everything you need to learn, you may learn in Kindergarten”-DepEd Bataan.
