Leadership style is the manner and approach of providing direction, implementing plans and motivating people. It is doing the right things. Leaders must influence their people and motivate them to do the same for the sake of organization or the company. A good leader must create another leader. Leadership style works best when the team is already motivated and well trained. Let the people feel you are there to help them and to listen to their own stories. The feeling of belongingness must be developed, we must help our people and build a lasting personal commitment that will make them more effective. We must find time to consult all members and develop to be participative. To attain the best goal for our school, we must use the right style of leadership according to the kind of people we are handling.

                Democratic type of leadership is not always effective. As a leader, we have to be very sensitive with the situations we are in, so that we can choose what style of leadership we are going to apply. Sometimes, we have to play the role of being an autocratic if the situation became harsh, but we must see to it that being autocratic is just a less percentage of our style. It is not good to work in fear and threat your people to become effective. We must train them to be participative and learn to feel comfortable working with them. Leader who knows how to inspire his people will help them glide along with other members to attain the vision and mission of the company. A leader who trust his people and make them an important part of the organization will find it easy to lay down changes and challenges. We must instill to their hearts the high level of commitment and the enthusiasm to work and be part of that change.

                Whatever style of leadership we are using, we must deal with it responsibly. We are leaders; we have great influence in developing our people to become more productive, effective and competitive. We are in the right position to achieve the best and mold others to do their best.
