The learning situation of students can be improved by the proper administrative organization of personnel engaged in supervisory services.

In a school, students’ learning situation is everyone’s responsibilities. It starts with the supervisory team, led by the school principal. The school principal has the utmost authority in a school management, thus there must be proper administration. The school principal together with head teachers, master teachers or senior teachers have the prime control over planning, implementation and evaluation. They supposed to lead the instructional and managerial aspects of a school. In this matter, those who have the position really matters, as they have the rights and responsibilities to lead the organization. Depending on the situation, but even when new or young teachers want to pursue some plans towards making learning situation better, if there’s no support from the supervisory team, still they will not prosper. In some cases, this kind of initiative from non-positioned personnel would just create misunderstanding, because those in position would feel in contrast to.

I often hear “wait until you become” whenever there are teachers who strongly suggest a different view. In many schools, still supervisory teams lack management of individual differences and still see themselves as the only authority in school. It is a fact that even all teachers are hardworking and committed, if the school supervisory team is on the other way, still it would be very hard for a learning situation to be the best. In some cases, the lack of management and leadership reciprocates teachers’ performance, thus negatively transfers to students.

Indeed, a great challenge to all school supervisory team to be flexible, committed and dedicated in leading the school towards prosperous status without embarking on personal matters. Let us respond to individual differences and 21st century requirements of becoming globally competitive leaders and teachers.
