As an anonymous author puts it, “Asmilecannotbebought, begged, borrowed , orstolen; it is something that is of no value to anyone until it is given away”.

Do you believe that everyone is endowed with good smile? if this is so , let it go. Do not hesitate to show your  feelings to the world . Many possess the negative thinking  that he/she must not be the one to smile first, but it must be the other person to do the first move.We must put in our minds what others used to say, that is, “a smile costs nothing, but it gives much.It enriches those who give it, It takes but a moment, but the memory of it lasts forever.”

A smile is an asset for a teacher who encourages a student to participate in the class interaction, not knowing that this particular student paticipated because he was encouraged bythe smile of a teacher.

In case you still don’t know, a good, sincere, smile has power.  How do you feel when a person is intruduced to you and he/she rises, smile and say “Hello”, “How are you?” Most probably you will feel a sense of long-running acquaintanceship or friendship, or as he has know you before.

Have you experienced asking a favor with a smile? One thing certain, he will be obliged to do that favor for you willingly.Truly, a smile can bring magic. So teachers, why not give a smile on your students and observe its hidden power as it is revealed gradually but effectively. Who knows, the achivement level of students might increase through this approach.
