School year is about to close, school children will surely be rejoicing. No more assignments, no more examinations and other sorts of school activities.
Equally happy, of course, are the school teachers. At least, preparation of lesson plan will no longer be a headache, doing visual aids will be momentarily stopped and the preparation of quizzes and examinations shelved.
However, school vacation does not necessarily mean rest in the search for knowledge, this knowledge may not be in academic but it can be knowledge to further enrich the pupil’s wisdom in various activities. Here are some tips that may be observed by pupils while on vacation.
- A girl pupils may help her mother in household chores, perhaps in cooking and house décor.
- A boy pupils may do some work like or gardening in the backyard.
- A pupil may enhance his talents in music and art by enrolling in summer classes.
- A pupil may start learning journalism if he is inclined to become a campus journalist.
Going to picnics in beaches or any resort places is also a summer activity during vacation.
But just the same, search for knowledge is also a worthwhile way of spending your summer vacation
