Education is just like a treasure that cannot be steal from ourselves, it is a life-long learning experience, mindset, and power. It also empowers us as humans and individuals in getting us ready to face endeavors, trials, challenges, struggles, problems of life effectively and efficiently. In the field of education, everyone must be knowledgeable to intensify it further. To be more focus on deficiencies, absence of proper way of techniques and strategies in teaching of young adults, other thing is lacking of the materials needed in learning such as books and other materials.
In every generation, education has an important part in every learner regardless of their age, gender, civil status, disability, religion, ethnicity, or political affiliation. It is an important tool that is beneficial in one’s life. In our first ages, the first stage we need to learn is on how to speak followed by learning on how to write then read. These skills of languages are all needed in Education. So, since our topic is Modern Education, let us tackle what are the differences between our today’s education generation from the typical and traditional education we used to have way back then.
Difference between Modern Education and Traditional Education
In traditional learning, it exerting the use of conventional learning tools such as blackboards, chalk, pencil, books and pens. It also a teacher-centered and utilizing or applying the used of deductive method of teaching in a classroom setting.
While on the other hand, we have a modern learning wherein students and teachers are about to used technologies, it is learning through different sites by the use of what we so called “internet” as a recent way of learning.
To sum it up, awareness in education, or simply (Educational Awareness) needs to be pass, share, stretch out throughout the country or even in other countries to make education be more accessible, equitable, affordable and interesting. As a teacher, and educator it can be seen that Modern Education focuses more on the students wherein the lesson plans, strategies, techniques, discussion in a classroom setting is Inductive Method and Student-Centered. The saddest thing about Modern Education is that there are still poor people who cannot follow the new way of learning since we are in the 21st century. In that way, teachers must be considerate and exert an extra effort to understand and consider the socio-economic status and even the diversity of diverse students. This remains partial without analyzing the importance of education. In every general topic such as this one, there still be imperfections, problems and disadvantages that arise during the process.
