Modern Agriculture eventually envades the Philippines. These are best learned in the field of education where Agriculture is the specialization.
The following are the modern methods in Agriculture which should be learned by the Filipino students:
- Use of modern equipment in farming. It is no longer the traditional tools that are being utilized in farming. The carabao is no longer used in the field instead modern equipment and machines are being used at present.
- Organic Farming. To avoid poisonous chemicals in plants particularly on the fruits, organic farming was introduced in our country. This way of farming makes use of organic materials which are safe to the consumers.
- Urban Planting. If there is a scarcity of space most especially in progressive areas, urban planting was introduced and this was made possible by the use of recyclable containers which are enough to grow plants.
- Tissue Culture. To be able to create unique fruit products, the farmers make use of tissue culture. In this way, better fruits are yielded.
- High resistant crops. This is related to the palay plants being introduced in the field of education which resistant to floods and other natural calamities. This is advantageous to farmers to avoid losses of income.
These are the latest ways being introduced in the field of agriculture and these are beneficial to the farmers.
The students who will be indulged in the field of agriculture must learn these modern ways in order be progressive in the said field.
The usage of modern equipment, organic farming, urban planting, tissue and high resistant crops are here today and be prevalent for the achievement of the best in agriculture.
