Our society and the world we live in are greatly affected by modern technology. We almost wonder what they are and how they work. It is hard to embrace the change but if we will think of the benefit brought about this change, it is easy for us to be with the flow of transformation.
In the field of education, modern technology is also visible. It is really considered a bridge for schools and institutions to have a quality education. Not unlike before during the time of our ancestors, they do not have enough knowledge and yet still innocent of things around them. With technology, researches are now available not only for educators, teachers, students but for all. Schools are also now aware of scientific knowledge in order to build higher and greater innovations in education. Through these, technology furthers students’ understanding as they pursue careers and other fields as well.
Technology, on the other hand, is the application of science principles. Medicine, engineering, agriculture, and nutrition are applied sciences. Some of the technologies that have been invented or developed not only help us survive in this world but also help us live comfortably. Using different media tools to sustain the needs of student in school are effective way to get their hundred percent attentions and also assist them in processing the knowledge that they will get from it. Modern inventions of technology provide educators instructional tools that will help them to facilitate learning. The presence of technology will help us to bridge the gap that connects us from the traditional way of learning.
There are challenges that may come to our way because of modern technology, but through the proper usage of this and by exerting too much effort to embrace the changing world brought us by modernization a better and brighter future can be in our hands. We will be able to fight against innocence and illiteracy and in the end will all help us to achieve a quality education.
