Filipinos are family- oriented and the values of the past are still visible despite western influences. Modesty and chastity remain women’s virtues.
The universal acceptance on information Technology need not be a fatal blow to moral principles. Yesss… “Morality is not a Fad” because the society still condemns those loose morals who go for indecent fashion, live-in, fond of sinful sex and filthy pleasures. Watch out…. Media Abuse and showbiz permissive posture has become deterrents to the healthy future of young men and women. These people are prepared to assume responsible parenthood and rear offsprings for the next generation.
The prevailing scenario is a wakeup call to the Educational planners, Social Scientists and moral advocates who are guardians of the Youth. As such the family and the church maintain their mission to preserve the Filipino Society ruled by law, governed with principles and guided with Moral Ideals. Let not Corruption spoil the hope of the next generation. Caution is raised but smart and more independent youth still beam with moral virtues. The 21st century looks at the youth as the future homemakers and care-oriented individuals. The options sre open for selective fashion and moral convictions.
The green light is flashed… move on to Righteousness. Clear the path to Moral Recovery. Tell the world: the Filipino race is marked with discipline citizenry.
