In everything you do always give your utmost effort for the result would be fruitful and gratifying. Teachers are known for this. In addition, they perform things beyond their tasks in order to be of great help to others, most especially to their learners. As a teacher, they perform multiple roles for the betterment of their students. These are their varied and challenging functions as a teacher:
As a dynamic educator or instructor. Basically, the teacher’s first task is to educate. He/she must excellently teach the learners with high quality of education that they owe to acquire. Essential wisdom, knowledge, skills and competencies must spring out from a dynamic teacher who is full of life in his/her teaching prowess.
As an affectionate parent or guardian. Being given the full responsibility to facilitate and take care of the young children in school would be challenging. It is expected that teachers must exert his/her
paramount effort in rearing and nurturing the learners. Let them feel that they are in good hands with care and security. Remember that teachers must always bestow their unconditional love.
As a well-trusted counselor or adviser. There are times that the child needs your best advice. He/she may be in pain, in sorrow or in trouble. So, a teacher must be a shoulder to cry on or to lean on. It is anticipated that teachers may listen to the child and direct his/her path to much proper direction.
As a highly regarded preacher or philosopher. Every word you utter creates impact on the child most especially the things on faith and values. The child always listens and follows great advocacies that inspire the minds and hearts of the people and these may come out from the angelic voice being projected by teachers.
As a creative coach or trainer. Teachers bring out the best in you. They are always eager to enhance your talents and abilities. They have the passion to discover and hone your potentialities to the fullest in order to create the best products or outputs from the learners.
As a rescuing agent or caregiver. There are times that child may experience physical pain inside the school premises. Fortunately, a teacher is always ready to offer his/her relief of action that could immediately answer to the need of the child and lessen the hurt. The teacher must provide the initial step most especially during emergency cases.
As a great friend or best buddy. If a student needs somebody to talk to and to confide problems and situations, a teacher is there to listen and to show concern and warmth. Moreover, a teacher should be somebody to whom the child will unhesitatingly divulge his heart and emotion. Whether in good or bad times, teachers are always with them to pay attention and understand.
It may be hard to perform multiple functions but teachers will definitely and successfully do them. They are well-versed and well-trained to carry multiple tasks.
