From that unforgettable day upon receiving and signing my appointment from my DepEd Family, being officially assigned at Bataan National High School  by virtue of my CSC Appointment, I felt In realm,    I am now a teacher in my own capacity who engages in a classroom teaching in any given  will grade level of instruction and  will serve on a full time basis. (Magna Carta for Public School Teachers)

For long years of handling the tides of studying various theories and concepts in the teaching profession may sometimes mean a  great struggle between life and death to many but eventually will become a silver lining upon graduation to most of the aspirant teachers.

True enough that I am my learners fountain of knowledge, a setter of  life situations on which they can effectively learn and thereby be able to apply such learning in their daily undertakings, so  what more can I offer to my learners?

Question…. What more can they expect of me then?

First, I must come to class  prepared:  this is one cardinal rule which an effective teacher must do. Secondly, I must exude the aura of positivity in class; it will do well  for everyone including me . Thirdly, I should hold high expectations from my learners. Motivating them to think more beyond, it will “hold waters’. Fourthly, I must exude in myself as their teacher the concept of creativity. It will inspire them to think more and act more. Fifthly, I must practice the principles of  fairness and equity among them all, it’s an important trait for me to possess . And in finality, I must have a good  heart, be compassionate, and empathize with them. Be kind and understanding as the situation calls for it, be supportive with their little steps, and don’t  be  judgemental. Combining all of these might not be easy but… I must always

remember, the best way to my students’ head, is through their hearts!

Thank you self for these thoughts!
