My kind of Boss is someone who is so considerate. Someone who listens to reach out, consider and meet at the middle and not listen to know how to defend one’s decisions or orders. Someone who thinks only of serving and not gaining anything. Someone who can melt one’s heart by just merely saying sincere words of encouragement even in rejecting one’s requests. Someone who can make subordinates follow because they are ashamed of disappointing their leader and not because they are afraid. Someone who thinks of rewards and not punishments to push the subordinates to do better and be better. Someone who is full of wisdom, full of ideas, not full of oneself. Someone who is full of heart, a heart that has compassion to pull everyone up, never intending to leave anybody behind.
However, my kind of Boss should also be firm in one’s justifiable, appropriate and wise decisions, especially in reprimanding misbehavior and untoward actions or incidents. There are no favored ones, equality is a priority. Knowledgeable of one’s cohorts, knows how and where to place the aces in their places. One should not just be kind but wise as well.
My kind of Boss is the one who leads, the one who knows how it’s done and shows how it’s done, not just gives commands.
My kind of Boss is not perfect, one may have flaws and weaknesses. However, one admits them and has a lot of desire to improve and learn together with one’s underlings. Learning, for one, is an awfully great adventure that opens doors and opportunities for new grounds and worlds that may lead to gaining the ultimate goals, to succeed, not alone but with everyone else. One finds happiness in others’ achievements and helps out for others to achieve.
My kind of Boss smiles and laughs because one is guided by God, is protected by God, fears God, seeks God and loves God. For one, God is the center of everything and with that, one will never go wrong.
My kind of Boss? Too good to be true. However, not impossible if prayed for.
