In the school community that exists in this world, the two most significant beings are the teacher and the learner. They are inseparable in order to realize the teaching-learning process in the field of education that will give the direction to the attainment of the educational objectives.
On the part of the teacher, he/she is the one who is well-equipped with the essential knowledge, skills and competencies that will be instrumental in developing and enhancing the child. He/she will be the guiding agent who will assist the learner in his discovery of the world and everything in it.
The learner on the other hand, is the potential individual who will undergo such studies and training to prepare him/her understand the world and to face all boosting challenges that will mold him to be a well-knowledgeable and well-educated person.
In a certain situation where a teacher and a pupil are involved, a good chemistry or good relationship must first be established in order to have a good starting point and for the teaching learning process be achieved.
Initially, before I start teaching my learner I see to it that I my relationship with him/her is good. Because I think that my learner and I must be familiar with each other in order for him/her be comfortable and at ease with me. Isn’t it better if we know each other well? Absolutely correct!
Secondly, I should inform and set the mind of my learner that our primary purpose is to study and learn. Telling the pupil of the benefits of the process would be very much advantageous and be rewarding soon.
Thirdly, I really devote my full attention and focus in order to give him the quality of education he/she deserves. Doing my duties and responsibility is truly satisfying if I perform them from the heart. Precisely!
Also, I always bring with me a bunch of patience in order to surpass the obstructions in the teaching-learning process. Moreover, the value of motherly touch is applied.
That is how I deal with my pupil. Having these good ways would help earn intellectual progress not only for myself but also for my learner as well.
