Our education system has been challenged this past two years, though we already have dilemmas regarding the situation we are in. The past years we are in, made our education system more resilient. The government as well as the school institution, may it be private or public schools tried to bridge the gap brought by this global pandemic. We continue to lessen the gap made by the virus but still thriving to make it better and more beneficial for our learners as well as our stakeholders.

Slowly, we are in transition from having the traditional way to the new normal and the education sector continue to develop the best modality for our learners. There are some modifications from the existing approach they made before and here is what they come up…

Hyflex learning implementation – What does it mean? When we say hyflex learning it pertains to both hybrid and flexible learning. It is integrated learning combinations of face to face and online/ distance learning. Is it beneficial for our learners? well for me it‘s a YES!

Hyflex learning implementation would be beneficial in the current situation. Knowing that Covid 19 cases could arise at any time and that the monkey pox scare has reached our country, it would be preferable for our students to learn using this approach. Those learners and parents who do not have the means to study online due to internet connectivity issues or a lack of a device to use will benefit from this instructional approach. Not only deprived students, but also students and parents who wish to attend face-to-face classes, are eligible. This strategy will encourage more students to attend school. In terms of feasibility and sustainability, BES has been blessed with teachers and students who support the implementation of any learning modality as long as it benefits our students. It will be beneficial for students to gradually transition from modular/online to full implementation of F2F learning.
