The current time requires for a different kind of leader who is away from conventional means but must have a novel perspective in looking for things.

In adherence to continuous challenges brought by globalization and national development, the field of education must inevitably conform to the latest trends being required for a progressive society.

That is why a school must transform itself into a better one and must shift to a new paradigm and must set a new framework of reengineering education, fostering human development and analyzing reform policies.

The educational managers will play a pivotal role in order to convert the school from conventional one into a novel and dynamic institution.

In doing so, several criteria for the educational system must be set and followed by the educational managers, with the help of its teaching force and staff:

A paradigm of learning.  This requires that education in school must be a paradigm of learning and development not merely an education for instruction alone.

A learner-driven paradigm.  This requires that the organization and the utilization of time and place are allocated and assigned according to how students learn and grow into responsible young adults.  The time and place in school must be used according to the needs of the learners.

A learner-centered curriculum paradigm.  This means that the school curriculum must work best for the learners.  The educational managers must see to it that the learners enjoy the benefits of the prescribed curriculum.

An economic efficiency paradigm.  The school leaders must lead the educational clientele to the proper use of resources.  They must learn to realize the value of the things around them and further imbibe it in the real world in the future.

A teacher as advisor, mentor and monitor paradigm.  Educational leaders must assure that the teachers stimulate and guide the learners through a curriculum of knowledge, skills and attitudes while they pursue and develop their personal talents, abilities, passions, and interests.

An achievement paradigm.  The school must be a venue of excellence whether in intellectual capacity or in talents.  The new paradigm persuades the learners to show their multiple intelligences in reaching greater heights.

A community collaboration paradigm.  The school administration or management must encourage active participation of parents and all stakeholders in the realization of the school goals and objectives for the welfare and betterment of the learners and of the school as a whole.

In adopting these new paradigms, the school will look anew and will become a better institution in the current generation.
