How should educators change for the twenty-first century? Each student is different, and a wise teacher in the 21st century should be able to tailor learning tactics to meet their requirements. No child is left behind because of this. Additionally, when teaching, the teacher must adjust to their surroundings and uphold positivism. When I accepted the difficulties of the new teaching and learning paradigms of the 21st century, I wrote about some of my experiences in the classroom as a teacher.
Fostering Student Empowerment and Agency This statement, according to Hativa, implied that students can only learn in a meaningful way when they apply the knowledge and study materials while engaging in physical or mental activity. I continually worked to foster student agency and empowerment in my classroom, and I firmly believe that when students are given the opportunity to participate in decision-making and discussions about education, both their motivation and learning outcomes significantly improve. To do this, I provided the students with an entertaining game in which they had to create their own puzzles out of various materials.
As society and education undergo changes, effective teachers in today’s classrooms will need to learn how to develop routines that consider learners’ varying levels of preparedness, interest, and learning profile rather than ignoring it.
