At the very core of all our efforts must be the development of each person. This where everything starts. Each person must be made to get hold of himself. He must learn to become recollected, gathering all his energies and directing all facts of his life towards few, clear, and high goals. Personal integrity demands the personal discipline that harnesses all of one’s resources and put them to use most effectively. Utmost care is taken to attain the highest level of efficiency, with maximum yield obtained and was kept to the minimum. Our responsibility toward other demands that we share good things with them. Among the things we can share are ourselves, and it becomes our duty therefore to always have something good within ourselves that we can give to others.
In this crucial sense, we make a difference in their lives. If we are good, somehow they are influenced to become better. If we are bad, then they suffer the consequences. It is the good effort, extended from one day to the next, sustained over many years, that is of incalculable value as an example to others. Any good deed that follows is an enhancement of the quality of our lives. It is a bonus, not only an added example they can emulate but also an extra gift they can enjoy. We are all expected to add value to and through our work. How well one does his work influences the efficiency of the entire chain of interdependent tasks. Each of us can make the difference for greater or lesser efficiency. We have responsibilities not only to ourselves but also to the entire system of which we are a part. We also have to develop the ability to work well with others. This requires humility, honesty, integrity, determination, dedication to serve and hardwork because our willingness to link arms with others and cooperate closely with them, stems from the acute realization that left to ourselves we can go only so far. If we take responsibility for the wider system, then we can accomplish more and attain higher goals.
Effectively, we stand on the shoulders of many others, a human pyramid that can reach even for the stars. No one should even work in isolation. No one can even think he has no need of others. All our personal efforts must be complemented by the combined strength of the group. This way the more talents and services an association can put together widen our reach and deepen our horizon. If we take responsibility for the wider system then we can accomplish more and attain higher goals. Effectively, we stand on the shoulders of many others, a human pyramid that can reach even for the stars.
The challenge is to strengthen the human pyramid at the base at every level, all the way to the top. This challenge is throw before us. If we take it with a deep sense of responsibility and teamwork, we make our mechanisms work, our networks provide support our systems to function and our organization help every individual and serve pupil’s common good.
