Being the second guardian in the school, the teachers employ various wonderful ways of nurturing the learners, developing their knowledge, skills, talents, values, self-esteem and most especially faith in God.

To give you a clear picture of cultivating the child holistically, a teacher must take note of the following:

Nurturing Knowledge. Knowledge is power.  In this regard, the teacher must nurture the knowledge of every learner.  In doing this, the teacher should impart the best quality contents and notions on various subject areas.

Nurturing Skills.  Skills are very practical. The teachers should teach the children various skills in order for them to achieve expertise and practical abilities.  These skills are relevant not only in school but also in the real world.

Nurturing Talents. Talents are the gems of every individual.  They will make one a stand out and exceptional among the rest.  Teachers should stimulate the child and encourage him to discover and make use of his talent.

Nurturing Values. Values are very affective.  They touch the hearts of people and with this the teachers should nurture the values of their pupils by teaching them upright values which will be contributory in building one’s good character.

Nurturing Self-esteem.  Having self-esteem is very important for it makes the child face the world with pride and dignity.  The teachers should nurture the child in this aspect for him to be confident in dealing with the challenges of life.

Nurturing Faith in God.  Above all, the teacher should nurture the child’s faith in God.  By means of this, the child will develop strong belief and genuine love for our Creator.

Nurturing is educating.  The child should be nurtured in different aspects for him to develop and progress holistically.
