In accordance with Memorandum OUOPS No. 2023-03 entitled Interim Guidelines of the Learner Government Program (LGP) for School Year 2023-2024, the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), formerly known as the Supreme Student Government (SSG) of Olongapo City National High School, held election on June 14,2023. Students in Grades 7 through 9 exercise their right to vote.

Ms. Kristine G. Ribada, SSLG adviser, supervised the election, which was facilitated by the Araling Panlipunan teachers and the Student Election Task Force (SETF). Dr. Roderick A. Tadeo, school principal, and Dr. Nita V. Mago, Head Teacher VI, Araling Panlipunan, enthusiastically support the activity.

Prior to this, the Learner Government Commission on Elections and Appointments (LG COMEA), comprised of appointed Araling Panlipunan teachers, screened candidates before selecting a partylist. Youth Outstanding Union (YOU) and Pasilyo are the two (2) competing partylists.

Lance Andrew P. Raro, a Grade 9 student from the Basic Education Program (BEP) and a member of the YOU partylist, was elected as the SSLG President for the School Year 2023-2024 with a total of 1529 votes, surpassing Empress Gaewellrae Macayan, who received 943 votes.
