To be a teacher is to be a student so that you may teach, first you must learn. One of the most important attitudes a teacher must possess is that of being open to learning. As teachers and future school administrators, we must continuously examine ourselves.
Though we teach, we are not, ourselves, free from making mistakes. It is said that we learn from our mistakes. But how many of us forget this?
Are we as a teachers, carefully examining what we teach? How much have we learned from our lessons and methods of teaching?
A good teacher is one who is hungry from learning. He looks to correct his mistakes and improve his craft, building on the lessons of his experience.
How ready are you to realize that after a quarter of academic year, a teaching method you thought to be effective proved to be opposite.
As already stated, in this situation, a teacher must be open to learning.
We must continuously examine ourselves.
