The COVID-19 pandemic is a serious matter that everyone of us is facing right now, it was started and hit everyone on the past, 2 years ago, it is also disrupted the world in ways inevitable and unimaginable. The virus killed most of people regardless of your status, gender or ages. As we look back, Covid-19 pandemic that continue until today, there are a lot of sectors that ruined by this virus and one of the most important was education. The educational system even other economic fields are not all ready for this thing to happen.
Technologies usage in Education during Pandemic
Institutions in education worldwide responded to the pandemic through the use of technology and social media. Most of people are lucky and capable of being knowledgeable of what the world is facing, there are a lot of news that can be follow or seen not only on the radio and television but also simply through the use of gadgets such as cellphones, I-pad, computers and laptops, since most of them are having the means of technology.
Effective Online Learning for Pandemic Learners
The use of online learning must be in moderation specially to our students nowadays. Since there is pandemic that’s widespread all over the world and the face-to-face classes is not advisable for the sake and safety of the students and teachers, they came up with the idea to have and undergo a modular, blended, and online classes for the education to still running.
Ineffective Online Learning for Pandemic Learners
Most of the people especially the parents are approved and in favor of online classes or learning of course because it is not sacrificing the health and safety of their children. But on the other hand, there are still disadvantages and problems that may arise in this way of learning. Not most of the families are having a consistent access to the internet, other thing is that most of them are not able to provide a good kind of gadgets such as laptops, computers or I-pad even some of their cellphones are not updated.
The quality of education depends on the unity of all sectors, governments, parents, teachers, and learners. Moreover, education has shown the need for much more support, and self-development courses, for children to grow academically.
