Parents play an important role in the learning community. They are part of the Learner Support Group, which steadies the roller coaster of K-12 learning. This group has three members; teacher, community member and parent. The three work as a team providing students with learning opportunities and celebrating results.
The roles of the parents are very important because they are considered partners of the school, knowing the fact that in the public school they charge no tuition fee for the children. Everyone is welcome and accepted in public schools. Through the efforts of the parents, teachers and principals they can make a decision on how they can develop and improve the school environment. Some of the sources of funding are fund raising activities like Search for the muses and |escorts, raffle draw, bingo, film showing and many others. The money that they generate from these fund raising will finance any school improvement they plan to undertake.
The teachers’ actions, words, and thought influence much the development of his pupils. So we must be careful in conducting ourselves. Our behavior is the models of our pupils. They believe in us, in every thing we say. We are their idols and follow all the examples we do.
All teachers must be intellectually qualified, have a sense of humor, show love for children, set example of clean. simple and honest living as worthy model for the learners and the community.Perform duties thoroughly, earnestly and demonstrate a high sense of responsibility.
Our government, as embodies in the constitution provides free and compulsory basic education in the elementary level and free in secondary. No tuition fees are charged. Only authorized contributions are collected by BSP/GSP, Red Cross, anti-TB, etc. which must be sanctioned by a DepEd memo. This is a primordial concern of the government, In fact, our system gets the biggest budget to implement its line programs and projects.
