“First we shape the building then the building shapes us” – this is an insightful saying in architecture. Engineers design and shape buildings taking to consideration the height and width, the ground where to be build, even weather is considered and so much more. When finished and occupied, however, these buildings shape and influence people’s lives. If this is so in architecture, it is also true for the partnership of school and community. It points to an interplay, a give and take relationship between the school and the community.
The relationship of the two institutions, support mainly the benefits of our young ones, the future of our generation, the hope of our country-Our students. Each role is very crucial in transforming our students in a safe and conducive learning environment. A school-community partnership provides variety of areas to enrich a strong foundation of education and to ensure the level of progress in line with our moral conducts and academic skills. The active participation and involvement of school and community brings unity and solidarity because they are working inseparably for the vision and mission of our present educational system.
