Pedagogy is considered as the art of teaching for it includes different strategies that can be used by teachers in various teaching situations in school. A variety of teaching strategies are here in order to improve the teacher’s instructions and to yield better learning outcomes.

As a teacher, you have to be updated with the appropriate strategies to be used in your profession for it brings a lot of benefits which are the following:

Raises instructional quality.  Through pedagogy, the teacher will be able to apply the most appropriate method to a certain competency.  Because of this, the teacher will properly deliver the skill to the learners which they could easily grasp thus quality in education is attained.

Makes the learners participate.  Since the most appropriate strategy or method is being employed by the teacher, the learners’ interests will be stimulated and they will be motivated to participate actively in the class.

Invites the use of modern facilities.  The latest teaching pedagogy are best applied using the wonders of computer.  By means of this, the delivery of knowledge and skills will be easily achieved.

Persuades the child to be resourceful.  The modern pedagogy is not spoon- feeding.  The teacher mostly acts as the facilitator and the child is the proactive agent.  Pedagogy encourages the child to think critically in search for learning.

Transforms the teacher to be innovative.  The latest teaching pedagogy prompts the teacher to be innovative.  The teacher will always seek for something new and advanced for the sake of the learners.

Makes the teaching-learning process well-organized.  Since modern pedagogy is being implemented, everything in the class will be organized and be set logically.
