Leadership has an important part to perform in creating the conditions for success at all levels of education and training systems. The major players in forging effective links between different levels of education and training, families, the world of work and the local community, with a common aim of raising learner attainment are the school leaders. Becoming an effective leader is not a one-time thing. Leadership process is a lifelong venture, and it takes time to learn and practice skills until you become a good manager.

The performance of educational managers cannot only be measured by acknowledging people who compliment them. Effective leaders periodically take stock of their personal strengths and shortcomings. Knowing the areas of weakness does not make good education managers weak. On the contrary, it allows them to delegate work to others who have those abilities to achieve a common goal.

Moreover, the experience of wonder and the yearning to learn again can enhance the performance and skills of educational managers. It is important for them to discover different strategies as they oversee the educational programs in an institution. Their duties are vital in curriculum development and staff implementation of the curriculum.

As an educational manager, there are two sets of responsibilities to learn. The first one is to manage the organization and the other one is to manage the context within which the organization belongs to.  The relationship with the internal and external stakeholders is vital to make sure that the agenda set by the manager is still appropriate for a certain program.

Basically, the experience of the leaders as they adopt new attitudes, new values, views, and new word reviews have a tremendous impact on the evolution of their personal identity. People who become educational managers have experienced lots of surprises, some of them are pleasant and some are not. Hence, learning the process of planning, organizing, and directing activities in a school is essential to achieve a great satisfaction at the assigned task.

Learning to figure out the implications of the style on a given situation through feedback is crucial not simply to know about what the leaders have done, but also to discover about how they have done a particular program. In this way, the leaders can figure out the cause-and-effect relationships that could help make the link between their intent and actual impact.
