It is common fact that reading is beneficial for all ages. It is not only a productive way to kill time, but also a medium to channel artistic imagination.

From the day we all started to attend school we were tough the basics of reading and all its perks. We are persuaded to love the art open handedly. Although not everyone got caught in the hypnotizing realm of books, novels and literature because of how it is expensive as much as it can be ‘boring’ in the terms of activity of the physical bod. But it is high time to change that crude perception of about reading.

Above every common benefit that we were thought about reading here are some more complex reasons why we should enjoy a good book.

  1. Reading helps you remember longer. Studies proved that Readers have less provability to have a memory disorder as they grew older. Because of the constant ‘exercise’ that the brain gats while reading, the cells and neurons that enable memory are kept in a good shape throughout aging, therefore it causes less degeneration and deterioration.
  2. Well know that reading expands the vocabulary, it opens the archive system of the brain, and although we forget terms and words every once in a while with a correct trigger those words will surface along with its context. Just like Google.
  3. Reading also relieves anxiety and stress. By reading a good book the brain produce hormones that alters the mood of a person, it makes them feel lighter and happier. It also takes the readers mind off of the things that causes their stress.
  4. Reading makes people ‘kinder’. Readingimproves people’s empathy or their sense of understanding other people’s pain and situation. Thus they judge less harshly and less blindly.
  5. Reading also opens up the windows of hope for people whom are undergoing dark chapters in their lives. It gives them a sense of inspiration. Lifting them up and giving them a essence propose.

Those are just some perks a good old book can bring into your life. There are still so many things that those bundles of pages can alight and touch aside from just the mind. So never shun a book you ,ay never know what part of your being it will stir.
